Explore the effects of agricultural terrorism and the double meaning of
Darom Adom - Israel's Red South
June 12 | 12:00 PM | Zoom
We will talk with a southern Israeli about the effects of agricultural terrorism on Israel's farming industry and natural resources.
Darom Adom, (the Red South), is an annual Israeli festival, held during the Anemone flower's blossoming season. Hamas has launched thousands of burning kites and balloons from Gaza into this region, burning thousands of acres of agricultural land with a profound cost to Israeli farmers and to the entire ecosystem.
A special thank you to Yael Tzafrir, our Jewish Agency community's Shlicha (Israel emissary), for helping host this event.
